On 30th of May 2019, the EMB AQMS Central Office handed over the Four (4) units of MRU AIRFAIR OPTRANS 1600 opacimeter to the to the EMB Region 2 (EMB R2). These instruments will be donated to some Local Government Units (LGUs) in Region-2 for the Anti-Smoke Belching Apprehension Program in their respective area of jurisdiction as part of strengthening the campaign against smoke belching vehicles.
To insure that the instruments are functioning properly calibration were conducted by the EMB AQMS technical personnel. The Results of the calibration were as follows:
